Hi folks- First, I apologize for this naive question. We are trying to build a network management software that would manage networking devices via gNMI (https://github.com/openconfig/gnmi) for models defined in Openconfig. (http://www.openconfig.net/). I'm trying to understand where Redfish fits in here. 1. Is Redfish a framework that lets me define a schema and also lets me manage this over REST? 2. How does this compare to gNMI+Openconfig models? 3. Are there schemas defined for networking devices like routers and switches?
thanks -Satish

Satish,
If you still pursuing the above goal, the Redfish Forum recently published a work-in-progress which contains the mapping for OpenConfig YANG modules to Redfish schema. The package also includes three mockups. dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP-IS0004_0.9b.zip
