Good day, Refer to the "Redfish Data Model Specification, DSP0268." The property of " OperatingSpeedMhz" seems to have a unit of Mhz in directly seen. There is a note about the operating speed of the memory device in MHz or MT/s as appropriate in the specification. But MT/s is a more accurate measurement for the effective data rate (speed) of DDR SDRAM memory in computing [ mts-vs-mhz]. Can this property just change to " OperatingSpeed" in the specification definition? Or, have any suggestions about this property definition? Best regards, Garbin

We can't change the property name as that breaks compatibility with existing implementations and clients. But we can probably add more language about "as appropriate" to give more direct advice per device type.

We do call out the distinction for when to use one over the other in the long description today:
"Memory devices that operate at their bus speed shall report the operating speed in MHz (bus speed), while memory devices that transfer data faster than their bus speed, such as DDR memory, shall report the operating speed in MT/s (mega-transfers/second)."

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your response and confirmation. Still wish this property could change to "OperatingSpeed" in the latest specification someday. Best regards, Garbin
