limiting volume of Redfish metric responses

Hi, with our use of Redfish in environments where bandwidth is limited, what options are available, to limit the volume of Redfish metric responses that are returned? For example, with some vendors offering over 30 Chassis temperature metrics, how could we best configure Redfish to return only the limited set of metrics that we require, so as not to cause excessive bandwidth utilization? Similarly, currently some vendors return static values (such as the upper and lower event thresholds) with every query. How can we suppress the transmission of static values during normal operations, and only retrieve them when specifically requested?
