A bundle of work-in-progress extensions to the Redfish schema covering air and liquid cooling equipment has been published on the DMTF web site.
This work is intended to cover liquid cooling distribution units (CDU's) and immersion cooling systems, with the groundwork in place for future support of air conditioners, heat exchanger units, and other thermal management systems.
The ZIP bundle includes mockups of a rack CDU and an immersion cooling system, the schema proposal for these types of equipment, an updated presentation, and a work-in-progress white paper that features a schema guide for the proposed additions.
