Hi all,

Follow the response from
redfishforum.com/thread/27/request-add-powercycle-resource-resettype

Jeff:
We added the "PowerCycle" separate from "ForceRestart" because a restart does not require the power to be removed from a device.

But here is the long description in ComputerSystem.json

The ForceRestart value shall perform a ForceOff action followed by a On action.

This confuses me, could anyone help me clarify?

That long description text has been removed in a recent release since it's not correct; all of the reset type descriptions are self-contained in Resource.json. Do you still see the text you're quoting if you pull down DSP8010 version 2022.2?
