Hello all,
I have successfully configured IPv6 (DHCPv6) between two laptops. Now, I am attempting to connect an EVB-AST2600 board to my laptop using an Ethernet cable. I have enabled dhcpcd in the configuration file and need to set up IPv6 for communication between the EVB-AST2600 board and my laptop.
The server configuration is working correctly, but I am unsure about the exact client configuration. Here is my dhcpcd.conf file.
ipv6 interface eth1 ipv6 enable ipv6 address auto global default dhcpv6 client information-request interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1 port link-type access port default eth1
Kindly help me to rectify this issue

I assume this is with OpenBMC? You'll likely need to work with the OpenBMC folks to understand why it's not pulling an IPv6 address from your laptop.
Can you provide the EthernetInterface resource that shows the interface's configuration in Redfish? That might give some hints as to what isn't configured correctly. In theory as long as the "OperatingMode" property in "DHCPv6" is set to "Enabled", the BMC should handle the rest for you.
